The gov.uk website has released guidance to family law practitioners about how to deal with family disputes involving the EU following the end of the UK’s transition period out of the European Union.

The guidance covers:

• Divorce
• Maintenance
• International parental child abduction
• Parental responsibility (child cases)
• Placement of children

The guidance is available here and will be updated following the end of the transition period as the legal profession finds its feet following Brexit.
