Lawyer Checker Invests Heavily In Management Team

A leading supplier of products and services in the legal sector has announced a major investment into its management team to support future growth.

The Practical Vision Network, home of the award-winning Lawyer Checker suite of risk management tools has appointed Julie Williams and David Opie to its management team.

Director of Operations Julie Williams joins having spent much of her career running large scale conveyancing departments across the country.

David Opie joins as Director of Marketing and Strategy. David has spent 7 years on different sides of the property fence, operating in both the legal and estate agency sectors.

The appointments are a signal of intent by owners Chris Harris and Karen Babington as they continue to grow the product portfolio.

Whilst best known for its innovative conveyancing risk tool Account & Entity Screen, which verifies the legitimacy of the firm on the other side of the transaction, Lawyer Checker has developed its product portfolio to help law firms tackle the growing risk of cyber related fraud and crime.

Lawyer Checker now offers a law firm to client bank verification service, email security tools, and is an assessor of the Government backed cyber accreditation Cyber Essentials.

The Practical Vision Network also provides marketing and event management through Solve Legal Marketing; inbound and outbound quote generation and conversion services through The Move Exchange; and online legal news through its popular “Today’s” publications.
